Polygon has announced the launch of the Gnosis Bridge, a bridge geared towards Gnosis Safe users.
According to the blog, the Polygon team chose to develop a unique solution aimed at being cost effective, which eventually led to the bridge being built.

While it is safe to hold a Gnosis wallet on Ethereum, it is expensive because gas is required for each transaction.
The Gnosis bridge is the easiest way for Web3 teams to transfer their secure assets between Polygon and Ethereum.
Users can now take advantage of multiple “Safe-sig” technology without losing convenience, cost or security thanks to the newly announced integration.
Currently, Web3 teams, including DeFi and DAO protocols, can use the Polygon bridge to transfer “Gnosis Safe” funds without incurring heavy gas costs.

In the first half of 2022, Polygon announced that the number of apps running on Polygon had reached over 19,000.
