Bitcoin’s total hash rate has reached an all-time high.

Yesterday Wednesday, exactly at block 757,214, the statistics from the site coinwarz.com The total Bitcoin hash rate has reached an all-time high.

Bitcoin total hash rate data indicates that the last record hash rate recorded was on September 11, 2022, at block 753,647, when it reached around 301.87 EH/s.

Prior to the jump over 300 exahs, the total Bitcoin hash rate reached a previous peak on June 8, 2022, at block 739928 to reach 292.02 EH/s.

The latest record in terms of total computational power comes amid the crypto winter, as the price of Bitcoin is 70% below the high recorded on November 10, 2021 (on this date the price of Bitcoin reached $69K).

Additionally, the hash rate increase occurred at a time when the difficulty of mining Bitcoin reached an all-time high recently.

At block 753,984, the difficulty increased from 30.97 trillion hash to 32.05 trillion hash.

Looking at the recent figure at 31.36 trillion hashes, we can expect to see an increase of 7.10% during the next difficulty adjustment phase.

If the adjustment estimate is as expected, the difficulty could reach 33.59 trillion hashes on October 10, 2022.

After recording the total Bitcoin hash rate to a record, the number started to decline as it fell below 300 EAHs and is currently heading to around 287.98 EAHs/sec.
