Days before the estimated date of Ethereum’s transition to Proof of Stake (PoS), the protocol passed through its last shadow fork.
The account of research and engineering firm Nethermind took the news to Twitter to reveal that the network went through its last remaining fork before the merger upgrade.
The transition through the latest update called “Mainnet-Shadowfork-13” (the last shadow fork before the merge) was successful for all nodes.
