The death of the longest-reigning United Kingdom in the history of the United Kingdom was greeted with grief around the world, but it also attracted the cryptocurrency community, which, as usual, grabs the most important events and converts them into digital currencies.

Hours after the news broke, several memecoins appeared like “Queen Elizabeth Inu,” “Queen Doge,” “God Save The Queen,” “London Bridge Is Down,” “Queen Grow,” “Rip Queen Elizabeth,” and “Elizabeth.” II” and “Queen Inu II”.

These digital currencies were traded on many decentralized platforms.

The innovative participants in the cryptocurrency sector have proven over the years that they can interact extraordinarily with any mega event happening around the world.

Shortly after the death of the queen, more than 40 memes appeared in the crypto space bearing the name of the deceased queen on the Ethereum and Binance blockchains.

One of the most well-known coins is the “Queen Elizabeth Inu” coin which rose in price by 11,400%, while the “God Save the Queen” coin rose by 1,500% before coin prices started falling in the last few hours.

A non-fungible token set (NFT) called “Queen Elizabeth 69 Years NFT” also appeared.

It is worth noting that its creators made a mistake as the queen’s rule lasted for 70 years, not 69 years.

Not everyone met the meme launch with enthusiasm.

The NFT enthusiast, known as “ThreadGuy” on Twitter, argued that anyone trying to profit from the death of Queen Elizabeth deserved to go to Hell.

Queen Elizabeth II was Britain’s longest-lived sovereign.

Over the decades, it was considered an institution in the United Kingdom and a figure that united the various nations in the region.

During her reign, she preferred not to get too involved in political issues, which may be one of the reasons why society in general favored her.
